Redhill High School Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Results

Students and staff at Redhill High School are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results, with an impressive 62% of all grades awarded at A*A

Among the success stories are top students Alba Lopez Lago Bergson,Kamso Onyekwelu, Saffir Davies and Isabella Williams all of whom achieved a full set of A* grades.

Alun Millington, Head of Redhill High School, said: “This is another magnificent performance from our students following last week's A level results, who also achieved 62% of grades at A*–A. Their hard work and dedication is matched by teachers, and cements the school's place amongst the highest-performing schools in Wales."

Redhill High School Celebrates Outstanding A-Level Results

Students and staff at Redhill High School are celebrating an exceptional set of A-Level results, with an impressive 62% of all grades awarded at A–A*.

Among the success stories are friends Tegan Harvey and Amara Millington, who celebrated outstanding individual achievements together. Tegan secured three A* grades and will take up a place at Imperial College London in September, while Amara achieved two A* grades and one A and will begin her studies at UCL.

Redhill’s Maths teacher Mr Alun Harries has been busy with another cycling challenge! 🚴‍♂️

Starting at St Davids Cathedral and finishing 30 days later at the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, he cycled 3,000 miles through 13 countries.

It was both a personal challenge and an opportunity to raise money for Mind, the mental health charity. A tremendous achievement, and if anyone feels able to support this very worthwhile cause we have agreed to share the link below.

Congratulations to talented sportsman William Cross who won the juniors under 16 and under 18 boys at the Pembrokeshire Open Tennis tournament.

He also came runner up in the men's doubles with father Jeremy, another outstanding achievement and a proud moment for school and family.

Whilst still reflecting on a wonderful Speech Day, we wanted to take time to celebrate not just our school, but every one of our students. Whilst the day is always a celebration, for many it also marked the end of their journey here at Redhill High School.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Whether you’ve been with us for a few months or for many years, you’ve each played your part in shaping our Redhill story and will always remain part of our school community.

A sincere thank you to Will Bramble, Chief Executive of Pembrokeshire County Council, for delivering such an inspiring keynote address, and to all our families, governors, staff and guests for making the afternoon so special.

🌊 Learning beyond the classroom at Redhill High School 🌊

At Redhill, we are committed to helping our students lead active, healthy and adventurous lives. Year 9 and 10’s end of term coasteering adventure at Stackpole Quay was another fantastic opportunity to step outside the classroom, embrace new challenges and enjoy the incredible Pembrokeshire coastline.

A huge thank you to Outer Reef for a fantastic day, and to our staff for making these opportunities possible.
