I’ve been teaching guitar for many years, and one thing has stood out more than anything else: people don’t all learn in the same way. Others need to see the pattern behind what they’re doing before it clicks.
Too often, guitar teaching ignores this and forces everyone into the same approach. When that happens, people don’t think “this method doesn’t suit me”, they think they’re the problem. In my experience, that’s rarely true. Rikki’s Guitar Hub was created to teach guitar with different minds in mind. Whether I’m working with someone one-to-one or through the online course, the aim is the same: clear structure, calm guidance, and learning that actually makes sense. Lessons are broken down into manageable steps, with short focused videos, diagrams, and written guides so students can learn in the way that suits them best. This isn’t about rushing, shortcuts, or flashy tricks. It’s about solid foundations, understanding what you’re doing, and building confidence at a pace that feels right.
