My first time using Clitheroe Library’s perfect space for a session this week, with some added Haribo fraction warm-up fun 📚🍬

Hi all! 😊 I’ve been a little quiet on here recently as things have been busy - and I’ve also relocated to Clitheroe!

A few spaces have become available, with sessions in the Clitheroe area as well as online. They could be for last-minute SATs prep over the next few weeks (with plenty of Year 6 experience), or for longer-term support to help children grow in confidence, stay engaged, and enjoy their learning.

I cover all areas of the UK primary curriculum, including Phonics for KS1, and keep sessions really personalised so they suit each child - whether they need a bit of extra support, more of a challenge, or just a confidence boost.

If your young person is in Year 9 or 10 (going into 10 or 11) NOW is the time to get organised 📆

Hi there and welcome!

I’m Leah, a Primary school teacher with ten years of classroom experience, plus years of experience in 1:1 tutoring. I’ve recently returned to the UK from Dubai, where my tutoring journey began, and I’m really excited to continue it here, helping children build confidence, enjoy their learning, and stay fully engaged in the process.

I’ve seen firsthand the difference personalised tutoring can make. My nurturing approach allows each child to flourish, whether they need extra support, a bit more challenge, or a boost in confidence. The skills and confidence gained in my sessions are designed to be taken straight back into the classroom, helping children achieve their best.

I tutor all subjects across the UK primary curriculum, including Phonics for KS1 pupils. I have years of experience teaching Year Six, which includes preparing pupils for SATs assessments, international assessments and entry assessments into higher academic schools. Sessions are flexible and can be tailored in length and content to suit each child’s individual needs, helping them become confident, engaged, and motivated learners.

I offer a mix of 1:1 sessions, small groups in BB postcodes, and online tuition, so there’s a setup to suit every family.
