✨W E E K 3 5 ✨

Another wonderful week and somehow, we’ve reached the end of August!💛

As always, our children have been busy exploring, creating, learning and making the most of every opportunity, with plenty of outdoor adventures, messy play, friendships and lots of smiles along the way✨

This week feels particularly special as we prepare for a big new chapter at Moorland. Next week, we officially welcome lots of our new little ones into the Moorland family and we simply cannot wait to watch them settle in, build friendships and begin their own nursery adventures. 🥰

At the same time, it’s a bittersweet goodbye to our wonderful School Ready children as their nursery journey comes to an end🎓

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and everything they have achieved during their time with us.

We’ll miss seeing their faces in nursery, but we’re so excited that many of them will still be popping back to Play Hub and we cannot wait to hear ALL about their new schools, teachers, friends and adventures! 🤎

September always brings lots of change, new beginnings and exciting opportunities & we’re so ready for another wonderful year with our Moorland children and families.

School Ready had an amazing time at Dino Falls Adventure Golf putting their skills to the test, exploring the course and enjoying plenty of fun and laughter along the way! 🦖

Our School Ready children took a walk into Clitheroe Market on a mission to find some unusual fruits they may never have seen or tasted before! ✨

They certainly succeeded, discovering dragon fruit, guava and prickly pears amongst the stalls, as well as choosing a few of their firm favourites too! 🍓🍎🍌

Such a lovely way to encourage curiosity, try something new and explore our local community. Now for the all important taste test!✨

Our 2-3’s had the BEST time visiting georgie mitchell 💛

From meeting and getting up close with the animals, to exploring the farm and enjoying all the wonderful sights, sounds and experiences it had to offer, there were smiles from start to finish! 🐐🐓🐴

Trips like these are such a special part of our nursery life, giving our children the opportunity to explore the world beyond our doors, build confidence and create some very special memories with their little friends 🤎

Safe to say, we had some very happy little farmers on our hands! 🚜

✨W E E K 3 4 ✨

Sometimes it’s the simplest moments that make the loveliest weeks 💛

Week 34 has been filled with happy faces, little friendships blossoming and plenty of opportunities to explore, play and learn together.

We’ve sung and danced our way through music sessions, got creative with arts and crafts, curled up with our favourite stories and spent lots of time enjoying the great outdoors.

And with the Great British summer doing what it does best, there have been raincoats, wellies, walks and LOTS of puddle jumping! Because a little rain was never going to keep our Moorland children indoors! ☔️

From our littlest babies discovering new things to our older children laughing with their friends, these photos capture nursery life perfectly; happy children, happy days and lots of lovely little moments in between 🤎

Our Toddler One children have been immersed in a colourful sensory adventure, exploring rainbow rice through scooping, pouring, grasping and plenty of sprinkling! ✨

From investigating different textures and colours to sharing stories alongside their play, these simple experiences are packed with opportunities for curiosity, concentration and those all important fine motor skills! ✋🏼

A throwback to one of the most colourful, fun-filled and meaningful days at Moorland, all for the most special cause, supporting one of our very special staff members, Georgia 💜

Georgia is taking on the Great North Run in support of Motor Neurone Disease, in loving memory of her wonderful Mum🕊️

And our incredible Moorland community absolutely blew us away…
