PARTOU TURNS 2!! 🎉

To celebrate our Partou day we came to nursery dressed in football kits or football colours to kick off the world cup. We enjoyed lots of football related activities from designing our own football shirts to scoring goals and decorating flags. We then made cakes to sell at our cake stall and finished off the day with a teddy bear's picnic with our loved ones coming to play.

A great day had by all! ⚽🧸😀🎉

Today's swimming lesson at Swimtime Lancashire we played a weather game, swam under the weather tunnel and had a turn at swimming with no armbands. Some of us jumped in with no armbands too! 💦💧

This week at our swimming lesson we ALL swam without armbands! We all cheered each other on and was very proud of ourselves and our friends. We practised putting our faces in the water and some of us swam under water. Well done everybody😀💦💧

Today at forest school the children spent time discussing who David Attenborough is as tomorrow he is 100 years old. They then took turns to talk about what they could see and ask each other questions about the nature surrounding them. 🌳🪴🌱🪾

This week with Miss Rachel we practiced floating on our tummy and our back. We used our listening ear's to play a traffic light game, red to float, yellow to roll over from our tummy to our back and green to swim as fast as we could. We then all practiced swimming to the rope with one band and then those that wanted to with no armbands, remembering to practice blowing bubbles to breath. We finished off with our favourite- jumping in! 💦

At Swimtime Lancashire with Adele this week we had an Easter themed lesson. First we swam all the way to the other side like a bunny, some of us hopping up and down in the water and some of us doing bunny kicks with our legs. We then used big eggs to pour water on our faces, float and push them Infront of us to swim after them. Then we collected all the small egg's for the Easter Bunny.
