Partou Whalley Meadows Day Nursery and Forest School provides early years care and education for children aged 0-5 years old in Clitheroe.

At Partou, the children are the leaders. Whalley Meadows was established in 2008, we are located conveniently on The Sidings Business Park, home of Whalley Train Station. Ideally located for parents residing on the popular Calderstones Park development and within walking distance of Whalley Village Centre.

This months employee of the month goes to our Senior Deputy Manager and Baby Room Leader Miss Nicola. Nicola recently led the team through a quality inspection whilst Denise was away with a glowing outcome. Well done Miss Nic Nic! 😀⭐

Our Baby Room Beach! 🌴🏖️

After all the lovely weather we have been having and children visiting the beach and enjoying holiday's we decided to set up our very own baby room beach.
The babies have been using the sand to mark make, scoop, fill and pour. We have used simple words such as scoop, fill, pour, pat and spoke about what you may find at the beach aswel as exploring lots of different textures.

Today to celebrate Father’s Day we set up a grab-and-go breakfast station in the entrance hall to celebrate all the amazing fathers, grandads and father figures in our children’s lives. Thank you for everything you do. We hope you enjoyed a special treat! 🍌🥐

A HUGE well done to our Baby Room Apprentice Ella! ⭐️
Ella has settled into the room so naturally and has quickly become a valued member of the baby room team who is always ready to learn. Well done Ella, Keep up the fantastic work!

PARTOU TURNS 2!! 🎉

To celebrate our Partou day we came to nursery dressed in football kits or football colours to kick off the world cup. We enjoyed lots of football related activities from designing our own football shirts to scoring goals and decorating flags. We then made cakes to sell at our cake stall and finished off the day with a teddy bear's picnic with our loved ones coming to play.

A great day had by all! ⚽🧸😀🎉

Thank you to our families that took part and gave donation's to UNICEF!

Today's swimming lesson at Swimtime Lancashire we played a weather game, swam under the weather tunnel and had a turn at swimming with no armbands. Some of us jumped in with no armbands too! 💦💧
