Our school is a large

All children are welcome irrespective of background and ability. Throughout each child's life at school we make great efforts to establish good home/school relationships and value parental support. Wow, what a busy year it’s been! Possibly a record-breaker, here’s a snapshot of everything we’ve been up to 🫶🏻 We hope you’ve all enjoyed the activities including our first evening for grown-ups 🙌
🙏🏻 Thank you so much for your support to help make this possible, we’re thrilled with what has been made and what fun we’ve been able to create for the children!
💰 Due to the ongoing Infant & Junior building works in 2025-26, we’ve ’paused’ our big spending until it’s completed - so watch this space for more news in September on what funds will be spent on!

💖Today we not only said goodbye to our Year 6s but also to these fantastic members of staff who have given so much to St. James’! We wish them all the very best as they move on to new things. Mrs Gardiner is leaving to take up a deputy headship in Leyland, Mrs Ashworth who went on maternity leave and is now looking after little Buddy, Jason our site supervisor who is going onto looking after in a secondary school, Mrs Lawton who came on supply and is now moving to Longridge and Mrs Cooley who also came on a days supply and stayed with us for the year, and is now retiring! We shall miss you all!
