This week as part of the The Linking Network project we enjoyed a special visit from Fairfield Nursery School, with a visit to Clitheroe Castle Park included, to celebrate the completion of our project.
The children enjoyed taking a walk through the castle grounds followed by a play on the park and a run around the maze.
We returned back to Ribblesdale Nursery School to see everyone, shared a picnic lunch and enjoyed spending time with the friends we have made during the project.

This year, the children have really enjoyed taking part in the Linking Network project. It has provided valuable opportunities to explore the world around them through key questions such as:
• Who am I? – thinking about what makes us who we are
• Who are we? – exploring similarities and differences between people
• Where do we live? – learning about our local area and community
• How do we all live together? – understanding how we can live, play and work together fairly and respectfully

The children have been learning all about life cycles 🐣, and we have successfully hatched eight little ducklings. The children are loving taking care of them and observing the ducklings growing and playing in the Forest School . They are so adorable 🥰

This week in our Forest School sessions we have been foraging wild garlic from our garden to make into pesto!
We collected the wild garlic leaves and carefully washed them, before blending them together with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, olive oil and parmesan cheese.
We then enjoyed tasting the pesto with breadsticks at snack time!
