We have a new get together now twice per term for all the students. It's at Trinity Community Hub and each student practices what they're working on and some play or sing together. We have a beautiful, new, Bose PA system which is set up and it's good to play or sing in a big room with the PA more like it is in a concert. Speaking of concerts, the next one is on Saturday 22 March 2025 at The Old School Rooms here in Clitheroe. Ticketed event. I love teaching singers to accompany themselves on piano. It is much quicker than learning to read music. Check out the app Chordify. It gives you all the chords for any song. The photo shows one of students, Zoya, singing and playing at an end of term concert.

A talented new piano student has joined the studio for lessons.
George is all set to work towards his Grade One piano and learn to improvise. He already can play and has a good grasp of the keyboard so we are going to be able to move fast! Watch this space!

I did a singing class at Clitheroe library and it was a lot of fun. Everyone was willing to get up, sing, dance and give it up!
We did breathing exercises, dance steps and 3 songs. Got the blood pumping! I'm planning to do another one on Saturday 24th September. I'll post more details nearer the time.
