Some of the teaching staff enjoyed a 2-hour training session this evening with Lee - also known as ICT with Mr P - Tech to Raise Standards!

Many of the schools in Clitheroe came together as a cluster to explore the use of AI in schools, and how we can safely use it to enhance teaching and learning for our pupils!

🚶‍♀️💛 WWB Big Sponsored Walk - Saturday 12th September 2026 💛🚶‍♂️

We'd like to share an update about our fundraising challenge for our new EYFS shelter.

Unfortunately, due to low numbers, we have made the difficult decision not to go ahead with the original pupil walk. However, the fundraising effort is very much still on!

A fantastic team of staff members, alongside some dedicated parents, will be taking on an incredible 26-mile sponsored walk to help raise funds towards the cost of our new EYFS shelter. The shelter was installed over the summer so our children could start benefiting from it straight away, and we are now working hard to help cover the cost of this significant investment in their outdoor learning environment.

🥾 The challenge:
• 26 miles in total (marathon distance!)
• Two 13-mile loops
• Starting at 8:00am from school
• Requiring determination, resilience, teamwork and many hours of walking!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has volunteered to take part and support our school in this way.

What a colourful day we had a school today 🩷❤️🧡🩵💛💜💚💙

Our first ever Colour Run 🏃 to raise money for school. The children were brilliant and completed lots of laps of our running track. They had lots of fun with the power paint (despite the wind!) and lots of smiles!

Day 1 back in school DONE 💕

What a joy it has been to see all the children in their new classes with their new teachers.

We enjoyed an assembly all together this morning to remind ourselves of our WWB expectations and values (more to come about that!) as well as lots of routine setting and connection activities in classes today 💕

The summer holidays have flown by, and tomorrow we finally get to welcome our wonderful children back to school!

We are so excited to see everyone and can’t wait to hear all about your summer, see your smiling faces and begin another fantastic year together. 💙

Our classrooms are ready, our staff are ready, and we have been busy preparing lots of exciting things for the year ahead.
