As the end of the school year is so nearly upon us, we wanted to wish our children a fantastic summer. The Bluebell and Buttercup classes have been exceptional and we are going to miss you all so very much. Keep being your true, wonderful and unique selfs. St Nicks spa was open today, just in time for Kindness Day 🫶🏻 The children learnt some mindfulness breathing, helped each other, said kind things and simply just made each other smile 😀 ❤️ A lovely afternoon of pampering and water play to look after ourselves and each other!

Year 6 have had a fantastic morning completing their D&T cooking unit at Clevedon School. A massive thank you to Mrs Davies for organising everything! We navigated what happens when you put 200g of baking powder in instead of a tsp and what happens when you don’t use a spoon to stir…but they all produced a fantastic two course meal and then had a wonderful time eating it together in the school‘s incredible Nourish room.

There is no better way to cool off in this heat than to get into our swim wear and get stuck in to some large scale water play 💦 What a fun afternoon for our Early Years children ☀️☀️☀️

This weeks continent to learn about in the early years was South America. The children made their own masks, wrote about carnivals, built replicas of famous landmarks, sorted South American animals learnt about flags, looked at traditional items from Peru and learnt how to samba. We finished the week off with our own Brazilian carnival party dance 💃🏽 🕺🏼 🪩 🇧🇷

Camp 2026: always a pleasure, never a chore...and that couldn’t be truer this year. They’ve made us laugh, they’ve had the most impeccable manners and they’ve 100% been their most authentic selves. We are so proud of them. ❤️⛺️

It’s the final day 😭 we packed up in record time with only one pair of unclaimed pants (probably Abe’s) 🩲 and one unclaimed towel (probably Abe’s). We are now channelling our inner Robin Hood and about to fill our bellies for the last time (We’ve never known a group who have enjoyed camp food so much that they are still asking for thirds).

Little 10km through Dolebury Warren: we made friends with cows, used bath towels as waterproofs, took it in turns to wear the happy glasses, played can you keep the sweet in your mouth without chewing it up the hill, learnt to read a map (when it was the right way up) and ate lunch in a group shelter (some of us didn’t get the memo that you needed to sit inside it) ⛺️🍬🗻🥾

Unfortunately, being Facebook Poster extraordinaire and Tidal Wave Queen does not work well together on a boat day so there are no photos to post. However, take our word for the fact it was a wild, wet and wonderful day and Dom our instructor told the kids at dinner that ‘it was the best day she’s had on the water for a long time’. AND….we managed to do it…we wangled a toboggan night. Certain individuals spent lots of time stuck in the net, we tried the Macarena down the slope and just had an absolute BLAST! 🛷 🛶💦🌊
