Here at Yeo Moor we are looking to support and grow the next generation of apprenticeships in our Early Years Team. Our fantastic apprentices 2025-6 have qualified this year with distinctions and are off to take on roles in the wider community. We are so proud of their dedication and care for our youngest pupils.

We would also like to share a helpful tip to ensure children have access to cool drinking water throughout the day:

• Chilled water tip – Fill your child’s water bottle halfway and lay it on its side in the freezer the night before, then top it up with water in the morning. The water should remain chilled for most of the day.

With warmer weather forecast for next week, we are making a few adjustments to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of our pupils throughout the day. To help children stay cool and comfortable, we will be allowing the following changes:

PE kit may be worn
Secure sandals may be worn (no flip flops or Crocs)

📚 Scholastic Book Fair is coming to school 📚
Thursday 11th June until Wednesday 17th June.
It will be located in the Link Building.

During the day, children will visit with their classes to explore and choose books. After school, families are invited to come along, browse together and buy books using secure online payment or our card machine. If your book is in stock, you can take it home the same day.

✨ This year’s fair includes a 3 for 2 offer
✏️ There will also be some lovely stationery available
📦 Books not in stock can be ordered and sent home as soon as possible
