One of the first fingerstyle / classical pieces I ever learned and it's still feels as good to play today as it did back then 🎸

Lately I’ve noticed something really inspiring… every single one of my students has taken a big step forward 🎸
It’s like everything is suddenly clicking — cleaner playing, better timing, more confidence, and just an overall jump in musicality. The progress across the board has been amazing to see.

What makes it even better is that everyone is working towards completely different goals — some learning their first songs, some refining technique, some pushing into more advanced playing — but they’re all moving forward in their own way.

I’m not sure what sparked it — maybe consistency, maybe mindset, maybe just trusting the process — but it’s working.

If you’ve been putting in the effort, this is your reminder that breakthroughs sometimes takes time to happen but when they do they often come at once. Keep going… it’s worth it. 🙌

What an epic day at Dan's Guitar Store workshop seeing where the picks, accessories and guitars are made. I originally bought the picks off Amazon to try out and they quickly became my favourites. I cut a nerve on my hand and index finger years ago so it's important for me to get the right pick.

Dan also helped me out in an emergency with some next day delivery on the last pack after they'd sold out and we've spoke a lot on Instagram since. The only downside today was not bringing a guitar home with me 😂🎸 I'll have one soon, they play and sound amazing with nice comfy shapes. Look forward to seeing what you have lined up next too.
