Beacon Academy is nominated in recognition of the positive partnership they have developed with Fresh Start Education, and their ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ to finding the right support and opportunities for pupils who may be struggling within a traditional school setting.
Although our partnership is relatively recent, Beacon Academy has demonstrated a real openness to working collaboratively and thinking differently about how they can support their young people. By entrusting us to provide temporary additional support for pupils who are experiencing difficulties, they have shown that their priority is not simply the immediate challenge, but finding a ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐๐ฎ๐ that gives each young person the best possible chance of ๐๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐.
What stands out about Beacon Academy is their willingness to recognise that not every pupil will respond to the same approach. They have been open to alternative provision and to working alongside another organisation to provide a different environment, additional support and opportunities for pupils to re-engage, develop and move forward.
The partnership reflects a shared belief that every young person deserves to be understood, supported and given the opportunity to succeed. Beaconโs willingness to work with us, communicate openly and explore different solutions demonstrates a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for the children and young people in their care.
Beacon Academy deserves recognition for embracing this approach and for demonstrating that we can create better opportunities and outcomes for young people who need additional support.
After all 10 nominations have been announced we will be asking our members to vote for their winner.
Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow as we reveal our final nomination ready for the voting poll next week! โค๏ธ๐ค๐ค
