PTS Reservations Call Handler Emma is registered blind and shares her story to mark .

"I wanted to join PTS to help patients get to their appointments on time, as well as seeing how other parts of the NHS work."

"For anyone who has a disability and is looking to work in PTS or at YAS, I would say it is a great team environment to work in. They are a disability confident organisation, who will go out of their way to make any reasonable adjustments and can support people with a variety of disabilities, not just sight loss."

As some of you may already be aware … on Thursday night we suffered flooding due to the heavy rainfall and storms .

The church hall and foodbank was flooded so bad that we lost a large amount of stock .

We had to throw so much away which obviously is awful for us .

We rely so much of donations to keep our costs down and to ensure we can support those in our community who are struggling.

We are now making a plea for help 😢 the demand for our food parcels is increasing …. People are struggling so much ….. nobody …. Should go without food 😢
