🌟 Employee of the Month – August! 🌟

A huge congratulations to our wonderful Cath, who is our Employee of the Month! 💐👏

Cath consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our families feel supported, listened to and reassured. She always takes the time to build positive relationships with families and is someone they can rely on.

Cath also brings so much creativity and enthusiasm to nursery life, always providing the children with fun, exciting and engaging activities that encourage them to learn, explore and have lots of fun! 🎨🌈

Not only is Cath fantastic with our children and families, but she is also a brilliant support to the staff within her team. She is always willing to help, share ideas and encourage those around her. 🤝✨

✨September Topic – This Is Me!✨

We’re so excited to begin our new topic at Stepping Stones Day Nursery! 💚

This month, our children will be exploring all about themselves and what makes each of us unique. 🌈

👧🧒 All About Me – discovering who we are, our likes, interests and what makes us special.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family – talking about the people we love and the different families that make us who we are.

⏰ Routine – exploring our daily routines and understanding what happens throughout our day.

😊 Feelings – learning to recognise, talk about and express our emotions.

❤️ Belonging – building confidence, friendships and a strong sense of belonging.

We’ll be learning through play, stories, songs, creative activities and lots of conversations, helping our little ones develop their confidence and understanding of themselves and the people around them. 🌟

We can’t wait to learn, grow and have fun together! 💚

🦷💜 Let’s help our little ones keep their smiles healthy! 💜🦷

We’re pleased to share this lovely opportunity for our families to get some friendly advice and support around children’s oral health and toothbrushing.

The session is aimed at children aged 2–5 years and is a great chance for parents and carers to ask questions, pick up useful toothbrushing tips and learn simple ways to support healthy smiles at home. 🪥😁

🦷 Healthy Smiles Start Early! 🌟

As a parent, you play the biggest role in helping your child build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Here are four simple ways to protect little teeth:

🪥 Brush your child's teeth twice a day using fluoride toothpaste.
🤝 Help or supervise brushing until they can do it well on their own.
🍓 Keep sugary snacks and drinks to a minimum, especially between meals. Water and milk are the best choices!
🦷 Take your child for regular dental check-ups – don't wait until there's a problem.

Healthy baby teeth are important for eating, speaking, and making space for adult teeth. Every little brush makes a big difference! 💙

The countdown is on! We can't wait to celebrate our wonderful Preschool Graduates on Friday 7th August. 🌟

🕑 Ceremony begins: 2:00pm
🚪 Please arrive from: 1:45pm so everyone can be seated ready for the celebration.

After the ceremony, the fun continues with our Graduation Party! 🎉

📸 Plenty of opportunities to take photos of your little graduate in their cap and gown, along with lots of other special photo moments to remember this milestone.
