Confidence -first learning I love reading, spending time with my family and getting out and about in the local countryside. I am a highly skilled and successful Reading Specialist who has taught 1000s of children to read with ease using established methods for
success! I have over 20 years experience as a primary school teacher, tutor and reading recovery specialist and can offer a range of reading tuition packages tailored to your requirements. Sessions focus on: boosting confidence; developing decoding and segmenting for reading and spelling (Phonics); teaching the reading and spelling of 'tricky words' and building reading comprehension skills. Children develop a real love of reading as they become more competent and this enables them to access learning across the curriculum. Reading opens doors to learning, knowledge and promotes opportunities that will boost their life chances and choices! Whether you require face to face tuition or online lessons, I can improve your child's reading and writing ability.

Discover the magic of phonics with Helma's nurturing guidance. Today's tip focuses on the "ee" sound as in "sheep" and "seed". Let's make learning fun and engaging for your little ones, helping them feel confident and supported every step of the way. 🌟

🌱 Help your child practise phonics at home!

Two or three letters can work together to make one sound. Try saying the sound together, then blending the example word.

Save this reel to practise another day.
