🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Preschool Council! 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

On the 1st of every month our Preschool Council meet to discuss different things within our nursery. 🤝

Today we discussed our Summer Menu's with our Nursery Cook Shiree and our Deputy Manager Jess🌞

The children suggested :
⭐Chicken Pasta
⭐ Stir fry with Yellow Noodles (specifically asked for!😂 )
⭐ Mini burgers like Mcdonalds!🍔
⭐Carrot Cake

We also talked about what we could grow ourselves here at nursery! Our preschool council suggested we grow:
⭐Flowers
⭐Plants
⭐Blueberries
⭐Carrots
⭐Rhubarb
⭐Potatoes
⭐Herbs

We will be looking in to all the suggestions made by the pre-schoolers in the coming weeks♥

Today we have enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to Lucy, making her a play dough cake and guessing how old she is😉

Happy Valentines Day ♥♥♥

Yesterday in nursery we were very busy decorating our own Valentines Day biscuits!🍪

We talked about the colour pink and which colours we mixed together to make it!💟

We also used our fine motor skills to carefully put sprinkles on the top of our biscuits!🧁

🤯 Did you know that fine motor skills help us perform important tasks such as feeding, grasping objects, and writing. Having independence in self-care and everyday tasks by using fine motor skills helps a child's self-esteem and confidence grow🤯

We are looking to recruit a level 3 Early Years Practitioner.
Here at Welcome Nurseries @ Clayton West we care about the children and their families, you will need to embrace this in all aspects of the job.
You will need to hold a level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
🌟 Be responsible for the supervision of children at play (indoor and outdoor) and at mealtimes
🌟 Contribute to the planning and delivering of exciting and engaging activities which will extend the children’s learning
🌟Contribute to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for all children
