🍔 IT’S NATIONAL BURGER DAY! 🍔

What better way to celebrate than with some seriously good burgers! 🔥

Today on a trainer visit at Ellis Butchers, we caught up with Level 2 Butchery Apprentice Toby and former Level 2 apprentice Alby, showing off their burger-making skills👏🥩

From learning the skills as an apprentice to putting them into practice in the butchery, it’s great to see the progress! 💪

A huge welcome to Harrison Dingley, who has officially started his Level 2 Butcher Apprenticeship with us! 👏🔥

Harrison is working at the brilliant Hill & Szrok, where he’ll be developing his skills, gaining hands-on experience and learning all the tricks of the trade 🔪🥩
 
And he’s got a great mentor on hand! 👊 His manager Maximilian is also completing his Level 3 Advanced Butchery Apprenticeship with us, so there’s plenty of experience and knowledge to share!
 
We’re looking forward to supporting Harrison throughout his apprenticeship and seeing his skills develop 🚀

🎉 Congratulations to Our Apprentice Butchers on Their EPA Results! 🎉

We’re so proud to announce that the following apprentice butchers have successfully passed their End-Point Assessments (EPA) and are now officially qualified butchers! 🥩🔪

Dave and his partner Jill have been travelling across Europe on a cruise – and, of course, their MEAT Ipswich travel mug came along for the adventure! 🚢☕

Roberto has been putting his skills and creativity to the test, producing an impressive selection of products:

🐑👏 Another assessment successfully completed! 👏🐑

A big well done to Level 2 Apprentice Butcher Mckenzie Holland from Elms Farm Costock, who recently completed his Lamb Assessment with trainer Andy.

Presentation is a key skill for every butcher, and Mckenzie did a fantastic job showcasing the techniques and attention to detail he’s developed throughout his apprenticeship. 💪🔪

A huge congratulations to Lily Poole from Jenkins & Son Fishmongers, who has been named our Learner of the Month! 👏

Lily has worked incredibly hard throughout her apprenticeship and we’re delighted to celebrate her achievements.
