Busy Bees – Little Artists in the Making! 🐝🎨

While we still have this lovely weather, we’ve been taking our painting outdoors and giving the children the opportunity to explore and experiment with different materials and surfaces to paint on.

There were loads of mess, lots of giggles, plenty of whistles and so much creativity! 🖌️🌿

Through this hands-on experience, the children have been developing their fine motor skills, creativity, imagination, communication, confidence and sensory exploration, all while having lots of fun.

What a wonderful way to learn through play and make the most of being outdoors. 💕🎨

Hello guys! 👋 Did you miss me? 😁

Loads has been going on since the summer break — new toys, new setup, lots of new cots and, of course, lots of new little faces! 🥰 You all know me… always changing things and keeping busy! 😂

We’ve all been settling in so nicely, and this morning, despite the rain, we put on our wellies and headed outside to splash in muddy puddles and collect conkers to welcome autumn. 🌧️🍂

The little ones had such a lovely time exploring! ❤️ And after all that fresh air and excitement, they went down so easily for their nap. 😴

When they woke up, I had a little surprise waiting for them… cupcake making! 🧁 They absolutely loved getting involved, and of course, the best part was enjoying our little treats afterwards! 😋 A little September treat!

Who loves autumn? Hands up! 🙋‍♀️🍁

Nature gives us so many beautiful things to explore, collect and enjoy, and of course, we brought some of our autumn treasures back with us. 🍂 We’ll be using them in our new mud kitchen — which I haven’t put up yet because I’ve been away… but don’t worry, I’m on it! 😂😁

During this busy summer period, we have enjoyed a wonderful variety of enriching experiences, from cinema trips to watch Paw Patrol and visits to soft play, to exploring local parks, browsing summer toy sales at B&M, and picking fresh produce at the fruit market. Alongside our outings, children continue to develop valuable life skills through practical activities such as planting and watering vegetables, caring for our garden, helping with household tasks, and preparing for our activities together. It has been an absolutely amazing summer, filled with fun, learning, and precious moments – I feel so fortunate to be able to do this job and support children’s growth in such a meaningful way 😍

People usually ask me what’s my plans for my days off , this is my plans buying new resources and improving my setting every day 6 months into the business and loads ideas in my head need to become millionaire if I could I spend all my pay day I would seeing children enjoying them every day and never get bored , than having time off looking at them and being proud of what achieve all alone 🤩🥰

Holiday time? Yes… I’m still working! 😁❤️

We’ve been so busy with muddy play, getting the diggers involved, making mud cupcakes, ice creams and all sorts of imaginative creations. The children’s imagination never fails to amaze me! 🤩

We’ve spent so much time outdoors picking blackberries and plums, exploring parks, and building beautiful friendships along the way. 🌿🍇🛝

Nearly 6 months into my childminding career, and I can honestly say I absolutely love it. These little humans become such a big part of your family, and watching them learn, grow and smile every day is the most rewarding feeling. ❤️

I truly couldn’t imagine myself doing any other job. 🥰
