We are a small team of qualified primary & secondary teachers, providing engaging, tailored 1:1 tuition and small, online group classes for children aged 5 - 16.

1:1 Tuition

Rates range between £45 - £60 per hour depending on which tutor you are matched with. Online group classes

Range between £20 - £30 per week, depending on the class size and length of the lesson. All prices include persona

I didn't set out to build a tutoring business.
I started as a primary teacher.
Then I began tutoring alongside teaching and saw how much children could thrive with the right support.
One student became a fully booked timetable. Then came group classes. Then a team of brilliant teachers.
Somehow along the way, this became my full-time job.
Four years on, I am still just as invested in every child who joins us.

What really happens inside our online 11+ Maths classes? 👀
It’s not just worksheets and endless practice questions! Each lesson combines clear teaching, guided activities and exam-style challenges to help children strengthen their maths skills and grow in confidence.
Led by Rob, an experienced maths tutor, students receive plenty of individual support in a small group of no more than six.
📅 Thursdays at 6:30pm

Celebrating our incredible SATS results.🎉
The results are in and we could not be prouder. Our Year 6 students have worked so hard this year and it’s lovely to receive messages from happy parents.
Although we’re fully aware that SATS results do not determine a child’s future success, we are so proud of the determination, hard work & resilience of our students.
Every child - regardless of their results - made fantastic progress & should be very proud of themselves!
A huge well done to T, I, J, and all our Year 6 students. Thank you to the families who shared these wonderful messages with us. Your kind words mean the world.

Ever wondered what an 11+ group class looks like? 👀📖

This week in our 11+ Creative Writing class, we unlocked how to create a high-scoring setting description. 📸

Instead of listing everything they could see, our students learnt how to:

✨ Paint vivid pictures using the five senses
✨ Bring settings to life with figurative language
✨ Use ambitious vocabulary naturally
✨Use the Zoom in, Zoom out method to create different layers
✨ Create descriptions that make the reader feel like they're really there

It's amazing how quickly children's writing transforms when they're shown how to think like a writer—not just told to "add more description."

I blinked... and somehow another academic year is over. 🤍
If you've noticed I've been a little quieter on social media recently, it's because this has officially been our busiest term yet!
Behind the scenes, it's been a whirlwind of lessons, planning, marking, assessments, updating policies and celebrating so many student successes, including some fab SATS results.
When I started Sarah Bridge Tutoring, I never imagined we'd be supporting 80+ students each year with an incredible team of qualified teachers. Watching our 11+ programme grow into something I'm genuinely proud of has been one of the biggest highlights of the year.
The best part? Seeing children walk into lessons feeling nervous and leave with confidence, new skills and a smile. That's always been what it's is all about. 💙
We're not slowing down just yet! Our 11+ Summer Classes start this week, and I honestly can't wait. Summer is such a fantastic opportunity for students to build confidence before their 11+ exams this september.
We're also working away behind the scenes to get ready for a brand new academic year!
For now though, I just wanted to say thank you.
Thank you to every family who has trusted us, every student who has worked so hard, and every tutor who has gone above and beyond this year. I couldn't do it without you.
I hope everyone has a wonderful, restful summer filled with adventures, laughter and plenty of time to recharge. ☀️
