Tendring Wado Kai Karate Club

Here are a few photographs of the 12th November 2024 grading, well done to all participants, you have proven with dedication, focus and the will to achieve greatness, your hard training, both physically and mentally has clearly made you all better karate- ka and worthy of your new grades, you all did amazingly well under the watchful eyes of 5 black belts on the grading panel.

Which brings me to a special thanks to all those that helped out on the grading panel, Timothy skinner, Steve Dezelski, Kevin and Sam.

On the 27 th April 2024, at Shihan master Richard Patrick's Dojo, two students went for their Dan Grade examination. Our student Kevin, made that proud step from 1st kyu to 1st Dan. Though his hard work and dedication resulted in this great achievement.

So we had an Association competition on the 8th of June 2024, despite the low turn out, it was a fiercely contested day and Master Shinohara would have been very proud, looking forward to the next one

So another year is nearly over... and what have we achieved through our hard work and dedication... Well, the results are clear, no matter what life you have and what age you are, you can still learn new skills, increase your fitness and upgrade your knowledge. As a result for our second grading this year, the achievements are clear.

Onwards and upwards for 2024

A great start to May at St. Paul's church Clacton, with our first grading in awhile. Four students starting their journey... a reflection on where we all started in our karate career... Through hard work, we are learning new skills and building confidence, which takes us on to change our lives both physically and mentally for the better.

Tendring Wado Kai Karate Club is pleased to announce its reopening...

Every Tuesday (starting 4th October) at our new venue at St Paul's Church, Clacton on Sea - open to all grades, 6- 7:30pm.
And the continuation of our Friday lessons at GymFit Clacton - grades 6th Kyu and above, 6 - 7:30pm

Minimum age limit for lesson is 13 years old.

£5 for members, £10 for non-members
First lesson is free 😁
