'Billy Elliot - The Musical' opens tonight.
Today we have received a very special message from Philip Mosely - the real Billy Elliot.
Philip was born in Barnsley and his father was a coal miner during the miners strikes in the mid-eighties. Philip joined the Royal Ballet at the age of 12 and was writer Lee Hall’s inspiration for Billy Elliot.

Unfortunately we have had to take the decision to cancel tomorrows Year 9 and Year 10 sports day due to the rain forecast.
Please can all Year 9 and Year 10 students now attend school tomorrow in uniform rather than PE kit.
We will endeavour to rearrange the sports day before the end of term.
