Great week at EWRK Martial Arts Club, a lot of work on Kihons, speed training and tactics for kumite. Confidence growing all round.

Our Karate squad training on the hottest day of the year, you all worked so hard!

2 man techniques, katas, grading and competition preparation..we pride ourselves on the quality of our students and the hours they put in.

Junior Kickboxers also smashed it this week at their Monday & Tuesday sessions, fitness and strength building.

Well done everyone 👏

**June Accomplishments at EWRK Martial Arts Club**

June was a busy and productive month for EWRK Martial Arts Club, marked by significant growth, community engagement, and dedicated training across all age groups.

Club Expansion and Growth: The club successfully fostered the growth of its new locations in Wivenhoe, Elmstead, and Witham, indicating a successful expansion of EWRK's reach.

Community and Family Engagement: A highlight of the month was Father's Day event, we see many fathers and students training together, strengthening community bonds within the club.

Preparation for Future Success: Students have been diligently preparing for upcoming competitions and gradings scheduled for July, demonstrating their commitment and the club's focus on progression.

Dedicated Over 60s Program: Our over 60s classes have shown great dedication, with participants working hard on kata, basic techniques, and fitness, proving that martial arts is for all ages.

Adaptation to Training Conditions: The club successfully adapted training methods to accommodate the hot weather, ensuring continued and effective practice despite the challenging conditions.

Thriving Infant Program: The infant classes experienced notable growth and development, indicating a strong foundation for the club's youngest members.

Student Dedication: It was observed this month just how many students are committing to many hours of training, highlighting their passion and the club's ability to engage its members deeply.

Successful Online Portal: The online portal proved to be a valuable resource, with many new additions, indicating its effectiveness in supporting the club's operations and members.
