SPOTLIGHT CAST AND TEAM⭐️
As we get ready to head to Disneyland Paris next weekend for Motion’s first ever international performance, we’re taking a little moment to look back at some of the highlights from our incredible Annual Summer Show, SPOTLIGHT, at Princes Theatre.
Over the next week, we’ll be sharing some of our favourite moments — and we couldn’t think of a better place to start than by saying THANK YOU!
To every single student who took part, whether you performed on that stage or came along to support your friends — we are SO proud of you. What you created together was truly incredible.
Watching from backstage, seeing the huge smiles on our performers’ faces and hearing the audience cheering, laughing and clapping brought more than a few tears to our eyes. There is something so special about watching our students shine, and SPOTLIGHT was a moment we will never forget.
And to our incredible audience… WOW✨
The support you gave every single student on that stage was something else. You didn’t just watch the show — you helped create the atmosphere. The roof was certainly raised, and the love that filled the theatre was a true reflection of the amazing community we have at Motion.
We are incredibly grateful to every person who came along, cheered, clapped, encouraged and celebrated our students. It means more than you know.

We’ve spent a lot of time reflecting since the show, and we honestly feel incredibly lucky to have the people around us that we do.
From our amazing teaching team and wonderful backstage chaperones, to the theatre team and everyone who helped make the day possible — thank you.
SPOTLIGHT was filled with so many incredible memories, and standing here now, as two very proud owners, we couldn’t be more grateful for the community we have built together.
Motion Dance Academy isn’t just a dance school. It’s a family, a community and a place where our students can shine.
