We cant wait to see what wildlife visits, observe the changes through the seasons and use it as a place of curiosity,exploration and learning 🪴

When children work together, amazing things happen 💛

The children asked for the marble run today and quickly got to work building it together.

As their ideas grew, so did the marble run, with one child even deciding to add a large piece of guttering to create an extra slide! ✨

Lots of teamwork, problem-solving, creativity and excitement as they tested their ideas and made changes together.

A is for Achoo! 🤧🔤💛

Today’s playgroup was inspired by the story Achoo and the letter A, with lots of opportunities for imaginative play and exploration.

The children loved creating their own “medicines” using coloured chickpeas, exploring water play with syringes and measuring cups, and investigating the X-ray images using magnifying glasses 🔍✨

So many opportunities for conversation, role play and curiosity, all inspired by one simple story 📚💛

From story books to our very own pond 🐸🌿

This week we’ve been learning all about frogs and tadpoles through play, books and hands-on experiences.

The children loved exploring our frog-themed activities and helping choose plants for our new pond. We can’t wait to see who might visit once it’s established 👀🐸

From seed to shoot 🌱👀

We’ve been checking our broad beans and sunflowers every day and the changes have been amazing to watch 🌻✨

There’s something so special about seeing children get excited over a tiny root or a new leaf 🌱

You can take the child to the dinosaurs, but sometimes the cars come too 🚗🦖😂

Today’s invitation to play was all about dinosaurs and playdough, and while one of our little car enthusiasts loves a vehicle, he soon became fascinated by the dinosaur rollers and the patterns appearing as he explored.

A lovely reminder that children often engage with activities in their own way, bringing their interests with them while discovering something new along the way 🦖 🦕 🚘
