Harvest Festival!! This week, we have been busy looking at some different types of vegetables we eat regularly and some vegetables that we may not eat so much. The children have been exploring how and where vegetables are grown and sold on to us as the consumer.

We've been having fun exploring nature and its seasonal changes. The children collected different shapes, sizes and colours of leaves. Later, the older children had a go at using scissors to cut the leaves to create their own leaf design whilst our younger children used their hands to crush them into small pieces. Everybody used and seemed to love our paint sticks to finish 😃

What a fun filled start to the summer holidays! This week we took a trip to the local playgroups, park, woods and the farm. In the afternoons we enjoyed playing with our sensory tuff trays, sand, crafting and dancing.

SPLASH!! We've had lots of fun with water play this week with it being so hot.🥵 💦

Even if the score was disappointing we've had lots of fun today! The children practiced their cutting and sticking skills and used tissue paper, felt tips, crayons and water colours to create flags. We also had a go at playing pretend football using our happyland toys
