💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes I will say goodbye to The Woodrows Nursery tomorrow Friday 21st July 2023.
I will miss………
-Working with the fabulous authentic most genuine, loving, nurturing and caring staff. Without a doubt the most wonderful people I have ever worked with.
-The most beautiful children with their open souls and minds. All the hugs, fun and challenges. The job satisfaction of making a difference and helping their lives in the very best way I could.
-All the children with special needs that we have been able to help.
-The most amazing parents who are above and beyond at doing the very best they can for their children. We all know parenting is hard. We are not born with a natural instinct and many challenges come our way.
It will be wonderful that the nursery is becoming a Forest School. With a charity behind them who can access grants and funds to improve the nursery I never could have imagined as an individual.
When I started 17 years ago we had
- social workers
- Speech therapists
- Education psychologists
- Area Special Needs Co-ordinary PRS
- Health Visitors
- Advisors
Now we have very little and I had to try to do all these jobs while supporting staff, children and families. Little Pals Charity will have more staff to do this with their own safeguarding, special needs applicator, finance managment, support and business accountant.
I know my first baby will be in good hands. All the staff are staying and nothing is going to change. It will still be fabulous. All that changes is me. They are fully capable to run it brilliantly.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to Kirsty Fisher who ran my baby for me to the very highest standard when I was blessed to have my very own real baby.
I wish everyone the very best for the future.
All my love
Sharon
