Hello, Iβm Hannah and I live in Thorpe-le-Soken with my husband Ross and two children Oliver, 5 and Rose, 2. During the past few years, I have been at home full time with my children, focusing on their early years development. My background is in Early Years Teaching and before having my son Oliver I was an outstanding Early Years practitioner at an Infant School in Colchester. I am passionate abo
ut children learning through play, everyday experiences and the natural world around them. Our home provides a safe, stimulating environment where children can enjoy growing into confident, independent and sociable young people. The children will have experiences that will allow them to develop at a pace suited to their individual needs and interest. I provide healthy snacks and we get outside every day, rain or shine! Our home is located near a variety of wonderful natural spaces, including a woodland area, playpark and we are only 10 minutes away from the various beaches which we often visit. I believe we all thrive from being outdoors and learning from the natural world around us. The garden has a variety of resources and areas to play in. There is natural grass for practising our sports, a mud kitchen for cooking up a variety of treats, an allotment area for growing fruit and vegetables and a climbing frame. I offer drop off and pick up from Rolph Primary School and wrap around care for school aged children. I offer term time only placements for children 6months and over. I have a CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to work in Home Based Childcare, Qualified Teacher Status. I hold a Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate and have completed Safeguarding Training.
