Parent Council AGM

Our AGM is tomorrow night at 6.30pm in the school. All parents/carers of Clackmannan Primary School and ELC are welcome to attend. An AGM is where we elect new members to the Parent Council and take a look at the year that has past. This year we will also be electing a new Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. Please get in touch if you would like any information on any of these roles and I will be back to you before tomorrow night.

Being part of the Parent Council is extremely rewarding and it has been my absolute privilege to have been Chair for the last twelve years. The work we do on the Parent Council benefits all our children, the school and the wider community. So please get involved, even if you can only help once a year, that makes a difference!!

If you cannot make the meeting tomorrow night but would like to remain on or join the Parent Council, please message below or leave a message with your class teacher. We will definitely get back you you.

Parent Council - Snack with Santa🎅

Snack with Santa returns next Tuesday and we can’t wait!! Come along and have a hot chocolate/juice and a cake or biscuit with Santa!!

We will also have a post box just incase you want to post a special letter to the North Pole. 🎅

🎄Christmas fun this Friday🎄

There's something for everyone at our Christmas event, with plenty to entertain the kids and opportunities for some Christmas shopping.

Visit Santa and Mrs Claus in their cosy cabin
Try your luck at the tombola and tree tombola
Facepainting, Christmas crafts and fake tattoos for the kids
Trishaw rides with Scott
Various Christmas stalls

Then follow the steps at the back of the hall to visit the Christmas Tree Festival at the church, enjoy a hot drink and grab a gift or two. They have Traidcraft products, Ann's Jams and jewellery on offer.

Last call for stallholders! Contact the office to arrange a stall at the Memorial Hall.

Parent Council News Flash

Halloween disco 🎃

Our discos are this Thursday and we can’t wait!! They are always so much fun. Thank you so much to everyone who has volunteered to help. If you are helping at the first disco, I will be at the school from 5pm, please come along whenever you can make it. The second disco starts at 7pm, if you can come along for 6.45, that would be a great help. We couldn’t run these discos without your support, so a huge thank you from all of us on the Parent Council. We are a little short of parent volunteers for the second disco, please come along and help if you can.

Only children at Clackmannan Primary School are allowed to attend the disco, tickets are £3 and are payable at the door. This ticket includes, a drink, crisps and a sweetie. Children can dress in Halloween costumes, fancy dress or just dress down but all we ask is that no masks are worn (it can be quite hard to see who is who when we have 5 different Spidermen 😊🕷️).

Children are expected to show our school values of Ready, Respectful and Safe at the discos.

All children at the p1 to p4 disco must be collected by an adult. Children at the p5 to p7 disco must know if they are to be collected or can walk home.

Halloween Discos are back 👻🎃

We are so excited to announce that we will be having a Halloween disco on the 27th of October!! We are so happy that we can once again host a disco in the school. More details to follow and we will be looking for loads of parent helpers too 😊😊. Our discos are always so much fun! 🕺💃
