π Congratulations to the Kingshill Class of 2026! π
Yesterday we all celebrated an incredible set of GCSE results and, most importantly, the remarkable young people behind them.
For the third consecutive year, results at Kingshill have risen, with more students than ever achieving the highest grades. From outstanding academic success to securing exciting destinations for the future, our students have shown resilience, ambition and determination every STEP of the way.
An impressive 21% of our students scored grades 7-9, the equivalent of an A to A*, in English and Maths and 75% achieved a grade 4 or above. Boys' achievement was notable, again bucking national trends, with 80% achieving a grade 4 or above in English and 79% a grade 4 or above in Maths.
A huge congratulations to all of our students, including Hannah and Ben, who each achieved an amazing seven Grade 9s, and Molly, who achieved six Grade 9s. π
Headteacher Jo Lindley said:
"These outcomes tell the story of a year group that worked hard, looked out for one another and embraced every opportunity. We are delighted by the well-deserved destinations they have secured and the opportunities now ahead of them. Above all, we couldn't be prouder of the thoughtful, confident, ambitious young people they have become."
These results reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the unwavering support of families. They also embody what Kingshill is all about: high aspirations, a calm and positive learning environment, and opportunities for every student to thrive.
Well done, Class of 2026. We are incredibly proud of you and can't wait to see what you achieve next. π
