🍂 Two weeks of autumn adventures at Tiny Tulips! 🍂

What a busy and joyful couple of weeks it’s been — full of play, discovery, and giggles! 💛

🐮 We’ve loved our outings to Cotswold Farm Park, where the children met and fed the animals — and even got to gently touch a fluffy chick! 🐥
🌈 Our toddler groups and childminder soft play sessions have been full of climbing, exploring, and lots of new friendships forming 🤸‍♀️💬

🍏 Out and about, we’ve been collecting autumn treasures — conkers, acorns, pinecones, apples, and colourful leaves 🍁🍃
The children even spotted leaves that looked like traffic lights 🚦— red, yellow, and green!

🎨 Back at Tiny Tulips, we got creative with conker rolling painting and lots of water play 💦
We explored rolling conkers down tubes, pouring and scooping water, and using different utensils in the mud kitchen to transport and mix natural treasures 🪣🥄

☀️ There’s been plenty of time for singing, waving to our shadows, and laughing together in the ball pit too! 😄💬

These two weeks have been packed with curiosity, creativity, and outdoor adventures — all while learning through play and celebrating the beautiful autumn season 🍁🌻💛

🌈✨ This week at Tiny Tulips has been all about rainbows, colour, and autumn adventures!

🎨 We explored sponge painting with every shade of the rainbow, making bright and bold marks.
🍂🌰 Out and about in Cirencester Park, we met up with childminder friends, collected shiny conkers, and even discovered a little moth hitching a ride on a child’s wellie boot — a perfect chance to stop and wonder at nature! 🦋👢
🎶🥁 Inside, the children loved making music with instruments, dancing, and enjoying plenty of imaginative play in the role-play kitchen.
🌧️👢 Even on wet days, we made the most of garden play — from pouring and mixing in the mud kitchen to chasing bubbles and balancing on stepping stones.
🐾💤 And of course, our lovely Lando joined us for nap time, happily snoozing alongside the children.

A busy, creative, and joy-filled week! 💛

🌷From soft play to puddle jumping… what a week we’ve had at Tiny Tulips! 🌷

🎉 At the start of the week we met up with other local childminders at Little Centurions soft play – the children had so much fun climbing, sliding and exploring with friends.

🌦️ Midweek was all about garden play and cosy indoor fun. Outside, the children enjoyed water play in the mud kitchen (with a splash of blackberry magic!), lots of puddle jumping and, of course, bubbles 🫧. Indoors we had puzzles, cars and plenty of singing with puppets and our songbook – a lovely mix of active play and quieter moments together 💛.

🚗 And to finish the week, we joined even more childminders at a local toddler group. The children especially loved the big toy car garage and had a wonderful time socialising and playing alongside friends.

It’s been such a lovely week of fun, friendships and learning through play 🌷.

🍂✨ Our first week of September at Tiny Tulips ✨🍂

We’ve been making the most of the changing seasons and enjoying plenty of play – indoors and outdoors! 🌦️

This week we have:
🌿 Gone exploring outside in all weathers – puddle jumping, nature walks, water play in the mud kitchen and whizzing around on the garden cars 🚗💦
🍇 Collecting blackberries, enjoyed tasting them and even used them for some very creative painting 🎨
🐐 Had an amazing trip to Cotswold Farm Park, where we fed the animals, explored the play areas and discovered so much about farm life 🚜
🏠 Enjoyed lots of fun in the playroom – climbing, building, mark-making and plenty of imaginative play together 💛

The children have had a wonderful week learning through play, making memories, and settling back into routine. Here’s to lots more adventures this September! 🌷

🧚‍♀️✨ Yesterday we went on a magical adventure again to Cirencester Park, Bathurst Estate to visit the fairy doors ✨🧚‍♂️

The children loved exploring the woodland paths 🌳, searching for tiny hidden doors, and imagining who might live inside them. We found fairy houses tucked into tree trunks, toadstool homes, and plenty of natural treasures along the way 🍂.

Trips like these are such a lovely way to encourage imagination, curiosity, and a love for the outdoors 💛. We balanced on logs, climbed, walked, and discovered so much together – all while enjoying the fresh air and nature around us.

A wonderful morning of fun, friendship, and a little fairy magic 🪄🌿.

🌷We’ve had such a wonderful summer here at Tiny Tulips 🌷

From messy play and paddling pool fun 💦, to exploring nature 🌳, building friendships 🤝 and enjoying plenty of sensory activities 🎨 – the children have loved every moment.

Little Luca has also enjoyed his first 10 weeks of “work” 🍼💛 – settling in beautifully and joining in with all the fun.

Now we’re ready to get back into the rhythm of September 🍂, with new adventures, routines, and lots more play and learning ahead.

🌷Exciting News from Tiny Tulips Childminding! 🌷

Back in May, we welcomed a beautiful new addition to our family – baby Luca! 💙 It’s been such a special time, and I’m thrilled to share that I am now back to work and loving every moment with our wonderful little learners again!

To make things even better, a couple of weeks ago we had our Ofsted inspection and were awarded GOOD in all areas! 🥳 Huge thanks to all the amazing children and families who make Tiny Tulips such a happy, nurturing place.
