Welcome Week 2026 - Exclusive New Student Events

We kick off the week on Sunday 20 September with arrivals day and a BBQ put on by the University to welcome you to campus. Our SU Welcome Crew will be on hand to help you find your accommodation and settle in.

On Monday we have a number of events aimed to help you get to know each out and discover our beautiful campus.

From Tuesday, returning students will join the fun.

Look out for more information coming soon including the full week’s event schedule, ticketing information plus much more…. the welcome fair, sports trials and end of summer party!

Today is a big day as we say goodbye to your 2025/26 Robin Brown Robin Brown!

Thank you Robin for everything you’ve done for students, for all your hard work, dedication and commitment, lots of which happens behind the scenes. Your leadership has helped to ensure the SU has a bright future ahead. We know it’s been challenging at times but it’s been a lot of fun too!

We hope you’ll take a bit of Royal Agricultural University Students’ Union & Royal Agricultural University with you wherever you go and we can’t wait to see what you go on to achieve.

Summer is here and it’s a beautiful time to explore The Cotswolds if you are around campus. There are some fabulous rural pubs to support in the local community.

And please remember to look after yourselves and each other. Don’t drink and drive. It is not worth it. Either have a designated driver or arrange alternative transport home. Some of the local pubs may assist by asking you to identify your designated driver.

And don’t forget your sunscreen if it’s sunny! 😎

It’s time to say a huge thank you to everyone who made May Ball 2026 such a great night.

Firstly, thank you to our student committee - Alyssa, Alexandra, Fred, Fiona, Nina & Mazie who worked hard behind the scenes to give your event the circus disco vibes 🎪

To .events who coordinated everything bringing you the Big Top, Fun House and fabulous entertainment including music from .bad and 💃🕺🪩

Thanks to , and Henry Farr for keeping us fed and watered. and Cotswold First Aid keeping us safe and all the many staff and volunteers who played their part to make this happen.

And finally, to all of you who came along, supported and danced all night until the survivors photo!

And just like that semester 2 is over! Summer is here & we’re loving that the sun is actually out too ☀️

Good luck to everyone whose time at has sadly come to an end. We hope you’ve got loads of great memories to take with you. We’ll see you at Graduation!🎓

If you’re back for more next year, we hope you have a great break & and we’ll see you in September 🎉

And postgrads, we’re still here for you all summer long. Good luck with your dissertations & research projects 🔬
