This week I handed in my PhD on urban-dwelling peregrines, particularly looking at what they eat! Five years in the making, working part time on it amongst family and work life! So very delighted and I wait for my viva in the new year. Meanwhile, one of my chapters has also been published this week - it looks at what urban-dwelling peregrines feed their young in cities like Bath, Leicester and Kingston (30 locations in total). A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped collect data and make the project happen during Covid-19! The image below is courtesy of Salisbury Cathedral, one of my study sites. I will be leading some guided tree walks at Kingswood Park, S.Glos on Sunday (27th July), showing off some of the park's lovely trees and showing how you can measure a tree to age it.
