FREE workshops with Andrea tomorrow 1st August at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms Open Day! 🪘 🎶

2pm - Family scratch choir - Learn singing basics & how to perform as a group in a short period of time! Open to all ages & abilities.

2.50pm - African drumming workshop for 8-14 year olds (parents must accompany children at all times) Learn to feel the beat!

Whether you are curious about what our music school has to offer or keen to just have some musical fun, we will be on the 3rd floor of the building & look forward to seeing you!

So who’s joining us next Sunday at the Kings Arms..?! 🎶👏

In support of the music school & to coincide with the Stretton Arts Festival - experience performing in a group & learn some popular songs from the past & the present as well as the West End whilst having some summer fun with our family pub scratch choir!

Could this be a taster of something new coming to the Academy next term… 🤔🙃🤗

Please join us on Sunday 2nd August in support of the music school for a scratch family choir! 🎶🎤✨

What is a “scratch choir?” we hear you ask! It’s ok… We had to look it up too 🤫🥴😂

A scratch choir is when a group of people who have never performed or pre rehearsed together, come together & sing!

Andrea Chapman who teaches at both LMMA & our local Stretton high school will be leading an afternoon of family fun & musicality!

Join us at the Hayloft, to learn a range of pop & theatre classics which we will then perform in the garden of the Kings Arms in the early evening.

There is a small charge of £5 per family or £2 per person for this event (cash only on the day) which will go towards supporting LMMA.

If you wish to attend, please email: [email protected] to register. Places are limited & please note, this is not a drop off, adults must accompany any children under the age of 18.
