Upholstery Studio Workshop Upholstery Studio Workshops are classes run by City & Guilds qualified tutor of the year winner Julie Coxon. Come along and learn to upholster furniture!

Upholstery studio workshops are fun and friendly classes where you can come to learn how to upholster and restore furniture! Classes are run by Julie Coxon, a City and Guild qualified tutor with over 30 years of experience and who won tutor of the year in 2014. All abilities are welcome to join classes which run on Mondays, Tuesdays and one Sunday per month during term time. Summer school is also

available from June onwards. All projects welcome and we have items for sale on site that you may want to make your next project. See our timetable or get in touch for more information! Examples of the skills you can learn are: wood finishing, basic woodwork, traditional upholstery including springing, buttoning, using horsehair and traditional fillings, cane work, rush seating and plenty more! Storage is available on site, left at owners risk.
