Providing Outstanding, 5 Star Rated Singing, Dance, Drama & Lamda weekend Training/Performances to local children aged 4-19 yrs based in Chorleywood+Rickmansworth, Ofsted Registered, CCV/Tax Free Childcare Accepted. We are a local, family run school providing high quality, part-time training in the performing arts to children aged 4-6 yrs and 6-18 years. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes for children - stretching young imaginations, building confidence and life skills whilst always having lots of fun in our classes. We perform regularly at Watersmeet, our schools and even in The West End! We offer optional Lamda exams in Verse and Prose, Acting or Musical Theatre and we welcome all ages and abilities to our school. Our principal Kitty grew up in the local area and graduated in 2012 with an MA in Voice from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has performed in the West End and taught drama and voice throughout the UK to children and young actors at drama school. Kitty brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to ensure Stagecoach Chorleywood is fully committed to providing an inspiring, creative education that consolidates and supports students academic life and development. The school has a wonderful and committed team of teachers who have all trained in the Performing Arts. Several have performed in the West End, on TV and in Film and are working in the industry at this time. Others have focused on teaching, extending their skillet via MA’s, PGCE's, Lamda and ISTD qualifications. Some have gone on to gain professional work and go to drama schools, whilst others prefer to focus on having fun, making new friends and developing their confidence and life skills.
