❤️ Volunteering Opportunity at Nursery ❤️

We are looking for parent volunteers to support us during our lunch time period from 11:30am - 1:00pm.

This is a wondeful opportunity to spend in nursery, help out children during lunch time and be a part of our nursery community.

Volunteers will need to have an enhanced DBS check in place before helping.

What a wonderful year it has been! As we come to the end of another fantastic year, we'd like to remind everyone that we finish at 1pm.

Over the summer, we'd love to see what adventurers, special moments and fun activities you get up to! Please keep sharing your memories and photos with us on Tapestry.

A very special good luck to all of our children who are leaving us in September. We are so proud of you all! Please don't be strangers, you are always welcome to pop in and say hello!

☀️🏖 BEACH WEEK 😎🏖

Our Explorers have been having so much fun exploring our beach theme this week!

The children have enjoyed scooping and serving their own ice creams, developing their fine motor skills and independence while engaging in imaginative play🍦

In our water play area, we explored different sea creatures, splashing, discovering, and recreating their movements and habitats. 🐠🦀🐙 The children loved talking about what they found beneath the waves!

We have also been busy with sand play, digging, building, pouring, and creating our own mini beach experiences. 🏰✨

Through these activities, the children have been developing their communication, creativity, sensory awareness, and understanding of the world around them, all while having lots of fun!

What another brill week at Highfield! ❤

We cannot believe we are nearly at the end of term - time flies when you're having fun!!!

Last week was another busy week, jampacked with

💦 Cooling off with lots of water play
👏 Some of our explorers transitioning to pre-school
👭 Spending time with our friends, learning to share, take turns and work together
🔢 Practising counting and number games through songs and activities
🌟 Most importantly, we had fun!!
