🐼 Hello everyone, it’s Kathryn here. I don’t really know where to start in writing this message. 🐼

🐼 I thought you would all like to know that this has been a really hard decision to make but unfortunately I am sadly leaving Woodlands Day Nursery in a couple of weeks to follow a different career path. 🐼

🐼 I have loved spending time with all off your little treasures over the past 10 years and am looking forward to seeing what they get up to on the Woodlands face book page. 🐼

🐼 I just want to say thank you again to Marie and all the parents for giving me the opportunity to look after your babies and being able to watch them grow over the last 10 years 🐼

Today we went on a roaring dinosaur adventure! 🦕🦖

The children started by colouring in their dinosaur safari jeep, using lots of bright colours and creativity. Once our jeep was ready, it was time to head off on an exciting pretend safari!

Looking carefully out of the windows, the children searched high and low for dinosaurs, using their imaginations to spot all sorts of prehistoric creatures hiding along the way.

There were lots of excited conversations about the dinosaurs they could see and hear, making for a wonderful imaginative play experience.

Activities like this help to develop creativity, communication and language skills, and encourage imaginative thinking while having lots of fun.

🛒A walk to Morrisons 🛒

On Friday, All of nursery took a big walk to Morrisons! The children walked very sensibly and listened to their teachers!
When we got to Morrisons, the children picked out all the ingredients to make a yummy rocky road cake! 🧁

The children were so polite to all the staff and members of the public 🥰

🧺Picnic in the Garden 🧺

On Thursday, Preschool, Hedgehogs and Bunnies enjoyed a picnic in the garden. 🍓🍞🍴

👩‍🎓 Save the date ! The countdown is on - less than 2 weeks until our graduation 🧑‍🎓

So this afternoon at 4pm is Father Jordan’s final service at All Saints.

Let’s show our support and celebrate all the amazing things he has done for All Saints and St George’s.

Jordan Bentliff you will be greatly missed - you’ve played a special part at Woodlands and we will always remember your amazing raffle announcements at Graduation 🤣

Good luck in your next chapter 🥰

Tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 is Father Jordan's final service at All Saints - it's going to be an emotional one!

Come along and celebrate the amazing work he has done in our parish with us - and bring along food for our Jacob's Join buffet afterwards!
