🐅The Tiger Who Came To Tea 🐅

The children in Hedgehogs Room have had a wonderful month exploring the tiger who came to tea 🐅

We’ve enjoyed decorating our own teapots, making tiger masks, reading the story to our friends and sharing the book together in small groups. These experiences supported the children’s creativity, communication, confidence, listening skills and imagination. 🐅🎨

We finished our month with a special afternoon tea with our parents and carers, where we could share the story and our learning together. 🫖💕

🦔💃🏼Dancing with Danielle 🦔💃🏼

The children in Hedgehogs have had such a wonderful time dancing with Danielle 🎶✨

Through music, movement and lots of fun, the children had the opportunity to explore different ways of moving their bodies. They have developed their gross motor skills, balance, coordination and spatial awareness. The children practiced following simple movements and instructions, while also building their self confidence and self expression. 🥰🎶

We love to see all the childrens big smiles and enthusiastic dancing 💕🦔🎶

🌿✨ 🐰Bunnies Little explorers🐰✨🌿

There’s something magical about children learning outdoors—getting their hands dirty, experimenting with the world around them, asking questions, testing ideas and following their curiosity wherever it leads. 🔍

Today baby bunnies have been exploring outdoors confidently and independently. We have been using our own creativity and a our love of learning and experimenting to create our own curious discoveries. But more importantly we have had the best time getting messy.💚

🐅Tea with a Tiger 🐅

WOW! What an amazing afternoon we have all had! All the hedgehogs staff would like to thank each and every parent for coming to spend time with us! 💕

The children have enjoyed listening to “The Tiger who came to Tea” story read by our very own tiger! 📖🐯

We then sat down to enjoy some delicious sandwiches, cakes, scones, biscuits, pork pies and sausage rolls! 🫖☕️🍰🍓🍩🥪🍽️

We hope you have all had just as much fun as us! ❤️

What will I do?

💚Provide high-quality care and learning experiences.

💚Support children's development in line with the EYFS.

💚Plan engaging, child-led activities based on children's interests.

💚Complete observations and contribute to children's next steps.

💚Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

💚Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

What will I need?

💚Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.

💚Strong knowledge of the EYFS.

💚Valid DBS, preferably on the Update Service.

💚PFA (Paediatric First Aid) certification .

💚A strong commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing.
