Yesterday in preschool we celebrated England’s first football match in the World Cup 2026 🏆we painted England flags 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 on our arms, legs and faces and did lots of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and football themed activities ⚽️

After England’s very successful win against Croatia 🇭🇷, Hedgehogs have had lots of fun celebrating.
The children enjoyed playing with balloons, and got really excited when we got the face paint out! The children chose where they would like the flag and then posed for the camera 📸

Hello everyone!

We are Angus and Harry, the preschool adventure teddies, and we are so excited to be starting our special journey with all of our wonderful friends and families!

Each week, one lucky child will be chosen to take one of us home for the weekend. We can't wait to join in with family activities, explore new places, meet pets, play games, read stories, and make lots of special memories along the way.

When we come home with your child, we'd love you to help us record our adventures in our special Adventure Book. This could be a few sentences, a drawing, photographs, tickets from a day out, or anything else that helps tell the story of our weekend together. Don't worry – it doesn't need to be long or fancy. We simply love hearing about all the different things our preschool friends enjoy doing!

Why are we doing this?

⭐ To encourage children to develop their communication and storytelling skills.

⭐ To help build confidence when sharing experiences with their friends.

⭐ To strengthen the connection between home and preschool.

⭐ To celebrate the unique experiences and interests of every family.

When we return to preschool, your child will have the opportunity to share our adventures with the class. We know everyone will be excited to hear what we've been up to!
