Today we are celebrating 🥳 Nursery being open for 15 years! 🩷🩷

Reflecting on 15 wonderful years of our nursery being open today. 💕 What an incredible journey it has been, filled with precious memories, amazing children, supportive families, and a truly dedicated team. We are so grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey and helped make the nursery what it is today. Here’s to celebrating 15 years and looking forward to many more! 🎉🌟

In the Caterpillars room (0–2 years)we have been enjoying exploring one of our favourite stories, The Colour Monster through our senses! 📚✨

We have been investigating and exploring objects in different colours while talking about the different feelings represented in the story. 🌈

Through lots of fun and playful experiences, we have been:
❤️ Practising our stomping to show anger
💛 Smiling, cheering and celebrating happiness
💚 Taking deep breaths to help us feel calm
💗 Giving cuddles to show love

We also had lots of fun looking in the mirrors and noticing how our different emotions can look on our faces. 😁☹️🥰

Butterflies 🦋 (3 months to 2 years)
What a lovely morning we have had in butterflies, the babies absolutely loved going on a trip to the local park and having a little picnic. On the way the children loved shouting out “hiya” to all the cars, dogs and birds. Once we arrived at the park, we were keen to get out our picnic blanket to have a big drink and a banana. Once our tummies were full, the babies were very excited to go and explore the park. The babies enjoyed climbing up the steps, sliding down the slide, riding the hedgehog and our personal favourite was going super high in the swings. We’ve had such a busy morning, I think we are all ready for a big sleep 🌳🛝🧺💤

🌿🧸 Caterpillars (aged 0-2years) Morning Adventure in Our Vegetable Garden 🧸🌿

Our Baby Room had a wonderful time exploring our on-site vegetable garden! We started with a lovely teddy bears' picnic using the children’s favourite teddy's from home before setting off to learn and see what we could discover in the outdoor environment.

The children enjoyed watering the plants and flowers, picking fresh apples straight from the tree and tasting them, and digging up carrots and onions to see where our food comes from. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that encouraged curiosity, sensory exploration, and a love for the outdoors.

We had such a fun-filled morning of learning, exploring, and making special memories together! 🍎🥕🧅🌼💚

This morning Butterflies (aged 3 months - 2 years) have been over to our very own on site vegetable garden! 🦋🌿🌻🍎🫜
The children were very eager to explore and get involved. We watered the plants, picked fresh vegetables and got messy with digging!
When going to the vegetable garden it’s a great chance to watch their curious minds bloom as they learn through hands-on play in nature. Here's to muddy hands, happy smiles, and lots of exciting discoveries! 🌞

In Uppers 2 (3-4years) we have been learning about people who help us. Today we have been learning about the occupation of a fire fighter. One of our children brought in their uncles fire fighter helmet. All of the children enjoyed trying the helmet on commenting about the weight and features of the helmet. 🧑‍🚒

Today in Uppers 2 (3-4years) we have started off our pre-school celebrations with a Shrek party 💚 We have had an ogrewhelmingly good time with lots of party games, a disco and lots of glitter ✨
