Honest post…

Recently I have been sent a few videos and pictures of my love2learners learning through play both at home and out & about.

It makes me so happy to see them choosing to reenact familiar parts of our sessions away from class! 🤍
Lots of them are not even about phonics, often it’s singing our ‘hello song’ to teddies/ toys or other members of their family or pretending to ‘Claire in the air’ 🥹 which is still a pinch me moment.

Not only does it make me feel like I have the BEST job in the world preparing children for school without them even realising, but also how much they ENJOY the classes and how much they are actually gaining from each session as well as their phonics knowledge.

YES, our sessions incorporate lots of learning through play, but also they allow moments of magic as children develop at their own pace and all learn differently. The sessions are fast paced to hold children’s attention at such a young age and incorporate something for all types of learners, personalities and preferences.

Our classes develop speech & language - learning new words, repeating phrases and reciting familiar rhymes & songs.
They equally build & strengthen children’s fine & gross motor skills, getting their fingers ready for writing and having fun mark making in different ways. Most importantly, our classes build children’s confidence & independence and foster that early love of learning.

So many moments I witness that make me smile, especially moments captured at home that show how much joy the classes bring the children that they want to continue the fun outside of the hall!

Some Love2learners are just excited to share what they are up to away from classes or on holiday ☀️

One mummy shared something with me yesterday and said “ The simplest things fill us with so much joy!!! ❤️”
Absolutely!

Every moment matters and it’s a privilege to be a little part in your children’s journey 🤍

We’ve had a blast this term and cannot wait for next term with lots of new things planned and some new resources bought 🤭
