TRINITY SCHOOL FAIR DEMONSTRATION

This Sunday from 12.00 to 2.30pm is the Trinity School Fair. We are completing a demonstration as part of the event. We have a lot of students that attend Trinity School, so it would be great to see loads of you there to show what you do to your teachers and friends!

All Bears, Kids and Family students are highly encouraged to attend and join in the demonstration for the benefit of the community.

When: Sunday 14th June.

Time: Meet at 1.30pm for demonstration at 1.45pm.

Clothing: Please wear your suit, training t-shirt or Leyland Festival T-shirt with trousers and belt. Please wear trainers as we will be performing on grass or concrete. If it's sunny please wear sun cream and bring a bottle of water!

Where: Trinity School, Unity Place, Buckshaw Village, PR7 7HZ

Demonstration: We will be performing what we do in class! Exercises, sitting stance punches, rising kicks and paddle kicks. With advanced students then performing patterns and self-defence.

LEYLAND FESTIVAL PARADE

North West TKD has again been invited to Leyland Festival Parade this year (Saturday 20th June). This is a great event and the Leyland Festival is a great day out for all of the family!

We will be walking as a group throughout the whole parade route. We encourage students to walk with their families. Older students (+11 years are allowed to walk without an adult joining the parade) We will provide a free t-shirt to all participants to wear for the event as we did last year.

We will meet at 11.00am, with the parade setting off from 11.50am and should be finished by 12.45pm.

Please respond to this email sent today to take part!

There will be no classes on Saturday 20th June and we encourage all students to attend the parade.

Please can you confirm by Sunday 31st May if you are able to attend, with t-shirt requirements to give us time to order the t-shirts.

Further details and arrangements will be sent out nearer to the time.

HALF TERM BREAK

There will be no Dragons, Bears or Kids classes between 23rd May - 29th May for half term.

There will be a reduced schedule for the family class. The following classes WILL be running during this period and are suitable for all students from 7 years old.

Sunday at Fulwood Leisure Centre, Preston (PR2 9YA) from 10.30am-11.30am,
Sunday at Lancaster Way Community Centre Buckshaw Village (PR7 7LJ) from 6.30-7.30pm (No SBT),
Tuesday at St Wilfrid’s Church of England Academy, Blackburn (BB2 2JR), from 7-00.8.00pm,
Wednesday at Fulwood Leisure Centre, Preston (PR2 9YA) from 7.00-8.00pm,
Thursday at Balshaws High School Leyland (PR25 3AH) from 7.00-8.00pm.

BALFEST is this Saturday 16th May - Balshaw's High School Spring Fair, Church Road, Leyland, Lancashire, PR25 3AH

We have a stand starting from 11am and a demonstration at 1pm. You will get free entry if you attend and support on the day.

We ask all students to support the demonstration and where possible to spend some time with us at the stand if possible.

BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND SCHEDULE

The following classes will not be running over the Bank Holiday:
Sunday Buckshaw SBT - 7.30-8.30pm - Lancaster Way Community Centre
Monday Buckshaw Dragons - 4.00-4.30pm - Buckshaw Village Community Centre
Monday Buckshaw Bears - 4.30-5.15pm - Buckshaw Village Community Centre
Monday Buckshaw Kids - 5.15-6.00pm - Buckshaw Village Community Centre

All other classes will be running as usual.

Please attend an alternative session throughout the next month if your normal class is not running due to the Bank Holiday.
