Blainscough had a fantastic day at the Anderton Centre yesterday - Kayacks🚣Archery🎯& Low Ropes 🪢

This morning Chisnall had lots of fun giving Mrs Winstanley instructions on how to make a jam sandwich! Their instructions were very funny and it helped us explore why instructions need to be clear, detailed and specific.

The children had a turn at writing their own instructions before enjoying their own delicious jam sandwich! 🥪

A huge thank you to Bonanza Creative for visiting us today. KS2 started the day with a CO Safety Assembly, then each KS2 cohort learnt about the importance of carbon monoxide safety, with workshops throughout the day!

Ellerbeck class have been designing their own 3D sensory rooms using brave colours in DT this week 🎨

Chisnall class have been learning all about keeping their hands nice and clean this week🧼🫧

Blainscough class have been learning about sculptures in Art , and today they are making clay birds nests 🪺

Year 3 have been discovering British Sign Language (BSL) this afternoon, and have learnt how to communicate in lots of different ways!

A massive thank you to Mad Science for delivering an assembly today based on 'Inventions and Discovery'. Mad Science will be hosting a 6 week afterschool club starting on 09.06.26 here in school. Full details will be on a letter which the children will be bringing home with them tonight 🧪🔭
