Well this afternoon our little, littlies...and our team...had a great time over at our lovely neighbours, Toddler Sense/Baby Sensory Chorley.

Great fun was had by all with a welcome party theme...lots of bubbles, pom poms, ribbons, balls, throwing, climbing, tapping sticks and some great movement with fab dancing moves.

The session was such a success and everyone is looking forward to next week already.

Many thanks to Ashleigh and Hannah who looked after us at Toddler Sense/Baby Sensory Chorley.

Well its been a busy Wednesday. We had the mobile library bus, drop in for its routine visit which the littlies absolutely love.

Then we practiced our listening skills by identifying sounds on a cd....and then....we built a house to hide from the big bad wolf.

We even had time to make pictures using stones too.

Phew...! Our littlies earned a rest today.

What a fantastic start for our new swimmers. There are some lovely pics of total joy from our littlies. Thanks as always to Matt at Swims Away Ltd for being so brill. Our littlies did so well.

It was also a great start with our new PE sessions as we welcomed Scott from Story Sport for our sport with a difference. To involve story telling and acting out the story through sport was just fantastic. Scotts story this week was 'Never Fall Asleep at the Zoo'. Thanks Scott.

✨ **A fresh new chapter at Little G’s Preschool** ✨

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to give our setting a real refresh...and we’re absolutely delighted with the result! 💜

We wanted to create an environment that truly feels like a nursery... somewhere our littlies can play, explore, discover, create and learn through their own experiences. Somewhere warm and welcoming, full of opportunities and, most importantly, somewhere children can simply be children. 🧸🎨📚🧩

And it isn’t just about our littlies. It’s about our wonderful team too. We want Little G’s to be somewhere our staff feel proud to work, with an environment that reflects the care, quality and professionalism they bring every single day. ❤️

Every space has been looked at with fresh eyes, with our children at the heart of every decision. We’ve reflected, invested and put lots of thought, time and love into creating an environment that feels unmistakably Little G’s.

As a family focused setting, we believe in being present, personal and professional...for our littlies, our families and our team.

And we’re not quite finished yet! 😊 Over the next few weeks, we have a few ideas and additions to tweak, fine-tune and add a few more little touches as our refreshed environment continues to take shape.

Well, Safari Week was such great fun! 🦁🐒🐍

We painted our own animal-print patterns, hunted for wild animals and played Five Cheeky Monkeys with our parachute!

Oh, and we had great fun with our very own petting zoo, where we met Dawn the Monkey and Spaghetti the Snake. 🐒🐍

Well, another of our Books of the Week was ‘Owl Babies’, so of course we decided to make our very own owl babies — which was great fun! 🦉🦉🦉

After watching our herbs grow over the past few weeks, we finally got to use them in our playtime. 🌿 Then we flew around the garden in the planes we made ✈️… and even had time to build a digger!

Meanwhile, our little Ladybirds were busy learning how to feed and care for our animals and babies. 🐾🍼 And we had great fun getting messy in the gloop — dig, dig, dig everyone! 😄

Our littlies enjoyed their book of the week with 'Duck in the Truck'.

Our Little G's Travel Agents has been very busy during the summer too. You will receive excellent service thats for sure. Free sand castle with every booking... 😀👍

Upon arrival at your holiday destination we had our train waiting to take you to resort... 🚂🚉🚂

Building dens and tents was popular....quick hide everyone! It was a great place to chill and explore with our friend. Good shelter from the hot sun too!

Making mud was fun too...it feels funny and goes all hard when it dries in the sun... 🌞

We planted herbs too...and tried to hide behind those too! 😀

Well, it’s certainly been a busy old time at Little G’s! ❤️

We’re busy preparing for the new term and, over the past few weeks, we’ve also been giving our Butterfly Room a bit of an upgrade, with the finishing touches being completed this coming weekend.

We’re really excited to see it all come together — and even more excited to see what our littlies think as they arrive over the coming weeks as we welcome our families back to nursery. 🦋❤️

And while we’ve been busy behind the scenes... our littlies have certainly been busy too!

We’ve got lots of activities, adventures, smiles and fun to catch you up on, so we’ll be sharing plenty of what everyone has been getting up to over the next few days.

Lots happening... and lots to look forward to as we head towards the new term. ❤️
