📚 Introducing our Little Book Borrowing Library! 📚

We’re so excited to introduce our new Book Borrowing Service here at Meerkats! 🐾📖

We have created a special little bookshelf in our reception area, filled with a selection of books for our children aged 3 years and under. 💕

Families are welcome to choose a book to take home, enjoy together, and then bring it back to swap for another one — just like a little library! 📚🏠

We want to encourage children to develop a love of books from an early age and help them discover that books are something to be enjoyed, shared and treasured.

Sharing a story together at home can be such a special time — a chance to cuddle up, talk about the pictures, learn new words and let imaginations grow. 🥰

By borrowing books and bringing them back, children can also begin to understand how libraries work, how we look after books and how books are there to be shared with others.

📖 Choose a book
🏠 Take it home
❤️ Enjoy it together
🔄 Bring it back & choose another!

We hope our little book-borrowing library will become a much-loved part of Meerkats and encourage lots of reading, sharing and storytime at home. 🐾❤️

📚💛 Our Little Book Share

Have your little ones outgrown some of their books?

Our basket is there for families to bring in good-quality, pre-loved books that are suitable for children aged 3 years and under.

📖 Bring a book
❤️ Leave a book
🌟 Choose a different book to take home

It’s a simple way for our Meerkats families to share the love of reading and give much-loved books a new home.

Please only bring books that are clean, complete and in good condition, and suitable for our under-3s.

🐾 How it works

📚 BOOK BORROWING SHELF
Choose a book → Take it home → Enjoy it together → Bring it back → Choose another!

🧺 BOOK SHARE BASKET
Have a good-quality book your child has outgrown? → Pop it in the basket → Choose another pre-loved book to keep!

Because every child deserves a story to share. ❤️📖
