Today our little chefs enjoyed harvesting the delicious tomatoes and apples that we’ve been growing. After carefully picking them, we washed all of our fresh produce together before the children helped to chop it up using child-safe knives.

Activities like this are a fantastic way to encourage healthy eating, develop fine motor skills, build confidence and teach the children where their food comes from. There were lots of smiles, conversations and excitement as everyone got involved in preparing our homegrown harvest! 🌱💚
