We dived into Pedro Almodóvar’s brilliant storytelling, explored the complex relationships, and shared thoughts on the themes of family, memory, and resilience, all while we practise the language skills.

My parents joined us and brought alfajores for everyone 🤎😋

I’m so excited to share that we’ve just had our very first Skill & Speak Spanish Conversation Lab: a session completely designed to practise speaking skills in a fun, dynamic, and relaxed way! 🗣️

Students boosted their confidence, spoke naturally, and connected through creative activities... all while improving their Spanish fluency 🌟

It was a very interesting and enriching session.
👉We discovered fascinating facts about the Mayas, Aztecs, Incas, and other Indigenous peoples, and gained a deeper understanding of how their legacy remains alive today.
👉It was also a great opportunity to reflect together on history, the meeting of cultures, and its consequences.

On 12th October 1492, the world changed forever. The day Cristóbal Colón (Christopher Columbus) reached the Americas is remembered across the Spanish-speaking world — but from very different perspectives. 🌎

Join us for an inspiring session to explore:
* The rich diversity of indigenous cultures in South America before 1492
* How the encounter with the Spanish shaped history, language, and traditions
* The blending, the loss, and the resilience that continue to define Latin America today

Through maps, stories, and reflection, we’ll look at how this meeting of worlds transformed identity, culture, and heritage — and how its echoes are still felt today. 💫
