During August, our Delivery Suite team supported 371 births.

100% of women received one-to-one care in labour, and many families were able to begin breastfeeding shortly after birth, with over 73% of babies having documented skin-to-skin contact within the first hour of life, helping to promote early bonding and feeding.

Our teams also cared for women with more complex pregnancy and birth needs, including those requiring enhanced maternal care, emergency interventions, preterm birth support and caesarean birth. Throughout all situations, our focus remained on providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women, babies and their families.

Thank you to all the families who entrusted us with their care, and to the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to support safe and positive birth experiences every day. 💜👶 During August, our Delivery Suite team supported 371 births and continued to provide safe, personalised care for women and families throughout their pregnancy and birth journey.
