Clayton-le-Woods C. of E. School nestles in the lovely Cuerden Valley, halfway between Leyland and Chorley.
There are almost 200 children on roll, aged between 4 and 11 years. We have 7 classes with 6 full time teachers, 2 part time teachers and several support staff.
Help Needed for the Bonfire Please get in touch if you can help on the night with:

And we still need wood to burn. Wood can be delivered to school any time and we can help unload. Let us know when you’d like to drop off.

Don’t Forget to Get Your Entries in For The Pet Photo Competition
Entries are now flooding in but there is still time to send in your photographs for the chance to win a pet themed prize.
Bring the photo/s to school, with your name and class written on the back, in an envelope with the entry fee of 50p. The photographs will be displayed in the hall and judged at the Summer Fair.
The categories will be:
Cutest Pet
Best Dressed/Most Creative
Most Unusual Pet
You can enter more than one photograph with 50p for each entry.
If you would prefer to email your photo into school we can print it off. Please still send 50p in an envelope with name and class on the front and then email your entry to Mrs Birkenshaw in the school office:
