Kung fu, the ancestor to many of today's martial arts will not only develop automatic response reflexes to deal with all sorts of self defence scenarios. But, it will also in the process of training to achieve such skills, will improve health, fitness strength, body shape and an overall feeling of well-being creating a form of self improvement that eliminates the need to join a fitness class or gyms of any kind.
