We are thrilled and immensely proud to announce that during Learning Challenge Week, our incredible students and staff raised a grand total of £3000 for Derian House as part of the Derian Junior Business Challenge! A massive thank you to everyone who participated, helped out, bought tickets and donated to such a wonderful cause. We couldn’t be any more 💚🩵

A huge thank you to CM Oxendale and Patrick Wright who supported us with our large scale garden project, donating the materials and supplies and giving up their time. With help from Wade Group, they spent the day transforming our outdoor space. Our students got involved where they could, learnt new skills and helped bring the project to life; one even said it was his best day ever at school! We love when a community comes together 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻

Endings are never easy but honouring legacies like these is truly special. This afternoon, past and present staff gathered together to celebrate our 5 amazing staff members who are retiring this year: Mrs Batson, Mrs Haslam, Mr Snell, Mr Whalley and Tim. We would like to thank them all for their tireless service, constant support and the irreplaceable laughter and warmth they have brought into work every single day. They all leave behind a legacy of excellence that will inspire us for years to come! Thank you to for catering for such a special afternoon. We wish them all the most wonderful and peaceful retirement! 🩵
