Background

Stagecoach Theatre Arts have been nurturing and developing young people's potential for over 21 years. With over 700 schools worldwide and more than 40,000 students, Stagecoach is the longest running and most successful performing arts schools network in the world. We not only deliver quality performance arts training but ensure that each child gets the most out of their experience by building life skills and confidence while having a lot of fun and meeting new friends. Every student from aged 4-18 years participates in each of the three musical theatre disciplines - Drama, Dance and Singing. Each three hour session for 6-18 year olds is split into three 1-hour classes, where young people get the chance to learn each skill in small class sizes of similar ages. Children aged 4-6 years are introduced to Stagecoach through Early Stages classes which run for a shorter period of 90 minutes, split into three 30 minute sessions in dance, drama and singing. As we keep class sizes small (15 maximum) we are able to nurture young raw talent alongside encouraging and inspiring those who might need additional confidence building. Hi, welcome to Stagecoach! ⭐️ HARRIET CAPLAN-DEAN - PRO’S FROM THE SHOWS WORKSHOP ⭐️

30 of our Senior students had an incredible few hours on Sunday with our Queen, Harriet Caplan-Dean! 👑🖤

We started with a brilliant Q&A, where Harriet shared what life is really like working professionally in musical theatre. She’s currently appearing in High School Musical as part of the ensemble and as Dance Captain, having previously appeared in Six💜, &Juliet🩷, and so our students loved hearing about her experiences and having the chance to ask their questions !

Then it was time to get to work! We learnt some incredible choreography, integrating singing and performance skills at top speed too!

Such an inspiring few hours with someone our students know, love and look up to.

Thank you, Harriet ⭐️

So proud of Emilia and her mum! 🧡🖤💛

It was a huge privilege to welcome my constituents, Emilia Atkinson and her mother Kayleigh to Parliament this week.

Emilia was diagnosed with DIPG, an aggressive childhood brain tumour, last year at the age of 10. She has undergone and is still receiving treatment and is now campaigning for greater awareness and investment into childhood brain cancer research and clinical trials.
She was in London to speak at the Brian Cancer Justice Day and took time to visit Parliament as part of her day.

Emilia is a true inspiration and following our meeting I spoke to the Secretary of State for Health about Emilia’s story and need for more support for children and their families suffering from brain cancer.

Thank you Emilia for visiting, your courage, determination and commitment to helping others is truly remarkable!
